1. About these terms

These terms govern your use of luxuptraining.com and our courses. “LuxUp Training”, “we”, “us” means LuxUp Training; “you” means the learner, school, parent, sponsor, partner or organisation enrolling with us. By browsing our site, joining a waitlist, creating an account or enrolling, you accept these terms.

2. Our courses and how they are delivered

LuxUp courses are AI-Tutor led — personalised to each learner, adaptive to their progress, interactive throughout — and self-paced. You can work through your course at the pace that suits you; courses are not time-boxed to a fixed schedule.

Because AI-Tutor led delivery needs an internet connection: Uganda’s internet is for the most part good, with few patchy periods. If you are in a remote or unserved area, or your power supply is unreliable, talk to us about affordable, viable delivery options before enrolling.

3. Enrolment and payment

4. Accounts and security

Where an account is created for you, you agree to give accurate information, keep your login details secure, and tell us promptly at courses@luxuptraining.com if you suspect unauthorised use. Accounts are personal to the enrolled learner and may not be shared. Schools acting for their staff or learners remain responsible for managing access through the school.

5. Progress reporting

Schools enrolled on our courses receive a real-time progress and competency-grasp dashboard, generated live from course activity, visible only to that school. Parents and sponsors receive plain-language progress updates by email. Access is granted only to the school or person a report concerns, handled as described in our Privacy Policy.

6. Certificates

Learners who complete a course receive the certificate named on that course — a certificate of completion with competency transcript, or a LuxUp continuing professional development (CPD) certificate where the course states it. Short parent and partner courses are not CPD courses, and we do not describe them as such.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

8. Your content and academic integrity

Work you submit — portfolio tasks, exams, projects — must be your own. Our AI-Tutor marks practice work and gives feedback; marking against official scoring guides is published automatically where our confidence is high, and reviewed by a teacher otherwise. Deliberate misrepresentation of another person’s work as your own may lead to the withdrawal of a certificate.

9. Our intellectual property

All course content, curricula, question banks, marking guides, dashboards, branding and the platform behind them belong to LuxUp Training. Enrolling gives you a personal, non-transferable licence to use the materials for the duration of your course only. Post-course services on this site are provided under the SiteONTHEGO brand.

10. Refunds and cancellations

Refunds and cancellations are handled under our Refund and Returns Policy, available from this page once published and on request at courses@luxuptraining.com. We will always tell you plainly where an enrolment cannot be cancelled and what is eligible before you pay.

11. Availability and changes to courses

We keep courses current and may update content, question sets or features over time. Where a substantial update changes what you were promised at enrolment, we will tell enrolled learners and schools. If we ever withdraw a course, learners enrolled on it keep access long enough to complete it or receive a pro-rata refund.

12. Our commitment to outcomes

Our courses are built to give you the strongest preparation and the clearest picture of your progress. Results still depend on the effort each learner puts in, so we cannot guarantee a specific grade, exam result or job outcome. What we do commit to is the quality of delivery, marking and reporting described on our course pages.

13. Liability

We provide our courses and site with reasonable care and skill. Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud, for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be limited. Subject to that, our liability in connection with a course is limited to the fees you paid for it, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.

14. Suspension and termination

If these terms are materially breached — for example, account sharing or distribution of our materials — we may suspend or end access. Where we do this for a breach, fees already paid are not refunded. If you break no terms and we end your access for another reason, you will receive a pro-rata refund of unused fees.

15. Third-party services

Parts of our service rely on trusted providers — payment processing by Stripe, email and messaging delivery, and hosting. Our learning platform itself is built and hosted in-house by LuxUp. These providers process data only on our instructions, as set out in our Privacy Policy. We are not responsible for services we do not control, such as your mobile-money or bank provider.

16. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as our services and the law change. The “last updated” date at the top shows the current version, and material changes will be announced on our website. Continuing to enrol or use our services after an update means accepting the revised terms.

17. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Uganda, and the courts of Uganda have exclusive jurisdiction — except where we serve schools or partners outside Uganda through a signed agreement, in which case that agreement prevails.
